México D.F., 26 de abril de 2013 (Cencos).- La federalización de las agresiones a la libertad de expresión ha sido un debate y demanda de muchos años atrás generado por periodistas, organizaciones especializadas en la materia así como por organismos de derechos humanos internacionales, ello con base en la urgente necesidad de contar con un marco jurídico adecuado e integral para investigar los casos de agresiones contra periodistas.  La razón que fundamenta esta demanda es que las agresiones se concentran en las entidades federativas y que muchas veces existe un vínculo entre responsables y autoridades locales, lo cual disminuye la posibilidad de una investigación imparcial.

El día que fue detenido, apenas a una calle de llegar a su domicilio, Marduk regresaba de haber acompañado a su hermana a la parada del autobús en la colonia Clavería cuando fue interceptado por las patrullas P-10-24 y P-10-10 con el argumento de que se acababa de suscitar un robo en la zona, por lo que los policías le exigieron esperara para que la supuesta ofendida lo identificara o no. El motivo de la sospecha es que portaba un “pants azul”.

México D.F., 25 de abril de 2013 (Cencos).- La madrugada del miércoles 24 de abril, fue encontrado el cuerpo sin vida de Daniel Alejandro Martínez Bazaldúa de 22 años, fotógrafo que recién se había integrado al equipo del diario Vanguardia donde cubrió la fuente de sociales en Saltillo, Coahuila (zona norte).  Con él se encontró también, el cuerpo sin vida de Julián Alejandro Zamora García  de 23 años, estudiante de la Universidad Autónoma del Noreste (UANE).

El 23 de abril fueron liberados los dos elementos de la Policía Ministerial de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado de Guerrero (PGJE) en contra de quienes se ejercitó acción penal por el homicidio de los estudiantes Jorge Alexis Herrera Pino y Gabriel Echeverría de Jesús, ejecutados extrajudicialmente el 12 de diciembre de 2011 en medio de un violento operativo policial con el que se respondió a una protesta estudiantil, en la ciudad de Chilpancingo, Guerrero.
