Las organizaciones que suscribimos el presente comunicado celebramos la inminente aprobación de la nueva Ley de Amparo, instrumento fundamental para avanzar en la consolidación de la defensa y protección de los derechos humanos. La reforma constitucional en la materia, de junio de 2012, establece las bases para que esta institución se adecúe a la realidad actual y resulte efectiva en término procesales y de protección a las personas que acuden en esta vía; la Ley de Amparo, de aprobarse, daría concreción a estas bases constitucionales.

Las organizaciones nacionales e internacionales dedicadas a la defensa y promoción de los derechos humanos que suscribimos la presente carta, nos dirigimos respetuosamente a Usted para llamar su atención sobre la obligación del Estado mexicano de dar cumplimiento íntegro a las sentencias dictadas por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en los casos Inés Fernández Ortega y Otros. Vs. México y Valentina Rosendo Cantú y Otra Vs. México, notificadas el 1 de octubre del 2010.
